How SafeFocus™ Knows Where Every Student Is

Each classroom has a small Bluetooth beacon — a passive, battery-powered device that broadcasts a unique signal. No camera. No microphone. No wired infrastructure.

When a student’s enrolled device detects the beacon and the class schedule is active, SafeFocusTM confirms that student is in that room. This classroom-level presence awareness is what enables the emergency location report — not GPS alone, which is unreliable indoors, but beacon-confirmed presence combined with GPS coordinates.

When a lockdown is triggered, SafeFocus™ immediately queries every active enrolled device across the entire campus. Floor Plan Map

A live overhead map of the school with a color-coded dot for every student on campus. Green confirms location. Amber indicates a weak or moving signal, Red pulses for students with no signal at all – demanding immediate attention from administrators and responders.

Student Location Log

Every student listed by urgency – unaccounted first, weak signal second, confirmed safe below. Each row shows the student name, grade, teacher, enrolled device, GPS coordinates, and the exact timestamp of their last confirmed location.

No-Signal Alerts

Students whose devices have gone dark are flagged immediately at the top of the list with their last knowns GPS coordinates and the time contact was lost. This data is available for direct handoff to 911 dispatch.

One-Click Actions

Adminstrators can export the full report as a PDF, share live coordinates with 911, send a parent notification blast, or initiate direct contact with missing students – all from a single screen without navigating away.
